Description

The latest offering in our knit sneaker lineup, the Tellustride features an incredibly soft cotton-blend upper in subtle shades for a clean look. An EVA midsole provides the perfect blend of stability and comfort, while a custom rubber outsole delivers traction and durability at high contact points. Inside, a memory foam insole and jersey sock liner ensure lasting comfort. A durable loop tab and TPU counter at the heel allow the shoe to be pulled on while maintaining the intended secure, non-slip fit without traditional laces.

Details

  • Upper: 40% Polyester / 60% Cotton; Upper Lining: 85% Nylon / 15% Spandex; Outsole: 55% EVA / 45% Rubber
  • Please note: This shoe is designed to fit true-to-size, with an ergonomic opening that hugs the ankle.
  • Opening will relax and adjust with wear.
  • Should have a secure fit upon first pull on and will mold to your foot following a brief break-in period.
  • Use one or two fingers in heel loop and avoid inserting thumb into heel’s interior for optimal pull-on experience.
  • We recommend a more lightweight or no-show sock for the most optimal pull-on experience and comfort. Thicker socks, sockless wear, or adding thicker insoles will detract from the intended feel and comfort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible fit all around People: read the reviews. I've had all the previous Peter Millar shoes and was excited to get this new pair. I saw some negative reviews but didn't believe them and got a pair of these anyways. EVERYTHING about the fit is awful. The opening is way too narrow, the arch part is too thin and you can feel your foot falling off the sides of the sole, and then the shoe opens back up and is loose on the toes. Wore these for a few days and casual walking and my feet and ankles are feeling it. Never written a review before but just had to share how disappointed I was...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cruise Excursions Very comfortable right out of the box being worn the 1st time on cruise excursions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly Awesome The look of the shoe is amazing - love the toe cover and other styling - it fits small from other size 13 shoes - not as comfortable as I had hoped

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Shoe! True to size. A slight challenge initially to slip into the shoe. A few days of use has reduced that challenge. They look and feel good! I have other Peter Millar shoes and clothes and have not been disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total Design Flaw I have several Peter Millar sneakers and I Iove them all but the Tellustride is a complete bust! The opening is so small it makes putting them on a complete battle! The vertical stitch on the collar is a design flaw and renders the shoes unwearable! The designer obviously never wore them!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs small, size up Rather disappointed in these. Could not fit my foot into the shoe. Maybe the shoe breaks in but I returned these and went back to the glide v3 which fit great and are true to size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OPENING IS WAY TOO SMALL I thought maybe i just ordered too small..Ordered a 12 and same thing, struggled to get my foot inside a SLIP ON shoe

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Not worth the $195. I needed a shoehorn to get these "slip-ons" on my feet even though I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable and stylish sneaker Very comfortable and stylish sneaker. I wear them to the office with nice jeans and they look age approprite when styled with upscale casual for work. The width is a tad small. I normally order a half size up in PM sneakers and did in this version too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe Not overly tight to slide on and fits true to size once on. No sight of a stitch mentioned in other views making it uncomfortable. Style is great, and shoes are very comfortable. Will be getting more colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoes, comfortable but odd fitting I bought all 4 colors, as I love Peter Millar stuff. Very comfortable and work with shorts or jeans. They definitely are a weird shape and fit, so order up a size. I am a 12.25-12.5 in most shoes, so I ordered a 13, and could BARELY fit my feet through the opening, yet this is much longer than a 13 size shoe, so it's an odd fit for whatever reason!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too small Way too small. Couldn't even get feet into the shoes to see if they fit. Somethings wrong with the way there designed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and great looking These are a little tight to slip on, but very comfortable and great looking!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for fat ankles… Very tight around the ankles and instep; however, the fit is true to size once you get the shoe on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Style and Fit Love the way the shoe looks and fits. It is not an easy slide on sneaker. Recommend a shoe horn until you get them broken in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wears great after a few hours I've bought several pairs of PM's other sneakers and love them. These are a bit snug on the first slip on & wear, but stretch out after a few hours and ultimately fit great. Very comfortable after the first wear!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Shoe! These happen to be the first pair of Peter Millar shoes I’ve owned. The Tellustride in stone is an easy to wear, comfortable shoe and is my go-to shoe! I’m not sure about the “vertical stitch” that has been referenced by other reviewers, but I had to search to find it. The stitch has not bothered me at all. As far as difficulty of putting the shoe on, I use the loop on the rear of the shoe to slip it on over my heel. I can see where one might have difficulty if trying to slip it on like a house shoe. In my case, the size is accurate and the fit is good. I have received many compliments on this shoe. Great job!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Millar's Worst Shoe Wish I had the benefit of some of these reviews before buying. An earlier customer said "there is a vertical stitch on the inside collar of the shoe that is bulky and hard" and this is 100% accurate. The shoes are difficult to get on (not sure why) and painful to wear because of this stitching in the middle. Miss the original Hyperflights.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Foot opening is too small I have (4) pairs of PM sneakers. They are great! Ordered the Tellustride in my normal size 12. It was nearly impossible to get my foot into the sneaker even with a shoe horn. Once I got them on they were fine. I’m not going through that again so I returned them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish New Shoe From Peter Millar These things look great and I've already received compliments on their looks. They are a bit snug, so I'll size up if I get another pair, but other than that I love the looks and feel. Super comfy for all day wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Peter Millar Classic Love the look of these - super clean and simple shoe that will go with everything. A little tight at first when putting them on but expected that with the slip on style. Consider sizing up a half size for a little bit more room. Can't wait to continue to wear!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Perfect look but one problem It’s exactly the shoe I had been looking for. Casual shoes for work. White or off white. No big brand or logos. I wear a 10 or 11 so I got a 10.5. Shoes inserts are super comfy but I put my insoles in for my arch preferences. And then after 15 minutes of walking around in the house I noticed the problem….there is a vertical stitch on the inside collar of the shoe that is bulky and hard. It creates a pressure point that I just can’t get passed. Designers could have replicated the outside collar but for some reason thought this stitch was necessary. Maybe long term stretching was an issue and the stitch keeps the shoe from loosing over time? I don’t have fat feet or ankles either. Hope this helps. And not sure whether to recommend it…guess you have to try it for yourself to see if you have the same issue. Without the bulky stitching it’s a pretty perfect shoes for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Swing and a miss Like the look. But these are not really slip in. You need a shoe horn to make it easy. The toe box is too tight. Not a comfy shoe at all. The Glide V3 is way more comfy.
