O-ring finish peeled off... twice
I’m a big Peter Millar fan, but this belt has been a disappointment. The first one I purchased started peeling after about six months of regular use. To their credit, PM customer service was great and sent me a free replacement. Unfortunately, the second belt is now showing the same issue. It seems like this belt just isn’t built for everyday wear, which is disappointing because I’ve had excellent experiences with PM shirts and pants for daily office use.
TL;DR: The O-ring coating looks nice at first, but starts to peel after ~6 months of everyday wear.

Very nice belt-other than the coating on the rings
As others have said, the rubber coating on the rings was wearing off after fourth use, now after month or so it's completely gone. The appearance of the belt isn't the same with a raw metal ring vs how it was purchased, for $90...was originally hoping to exchange for a new one at our local store, but now seeing this is common I'm not sure exchanging will solve the issue.
