Description
A benchmark in sportswear style, our iconic quilted coat is equally classic and current. This season’s model utilizes a new fabric that retains water-resistant and windproof qualities with a more subtle, matte finish and a hint of texture. Featuring an unlined interior to reduce weight, it offers ample warmth and layering ease in a more city-ready design.

Suffolk CoatI like Peter Millar products. This ia a light, all weather, coat. Fits true to size.

Smart all round jacketVery good quality and an excellent fit. Too cold to wear at the minute but by end of next month it will be a perfect and smart all round jacket.

Friendly advice from
Flagship to Fast Fashion: Analysis ParalysisJunior chap at corporate, armed with a spreadsheet and tasked with protecting margins, has clearly missed that this was one of Peter Millar’s most successful and in-demand lines. What once enticed customers and served as a gateway into the wider collection has been obliterated in one foul swoop. Cheaper materials, the lack of a decent lining, and the loss of internal pockets render this no better than fast-fashion, mass-produced, short-lifespan tat. Now in its third season, despite constant consumer feedback pleading for a return to its glory days, the copy-paste line about “continually refining based on customer feedback” falls on deaf ears. Sadly, the Essex line is befallen to the same fate as the Suffolk. A lack of appreciation that clients here are consumer discretionary spenders. Try this: compare the incremental basket value and profits generated by those who historically purchased Essex/Suffolk lines to now, it may prove genuinely shocking.

DisappointedVery light jacket the cut is full I’m but a bit disappointed with the material and plastic snaps. It seems rather cheap.

Incredible piece to add to your collection!Incredible piece! Got this for our son who is a huge Peter Millar fan and collector. The overall weight, the material, the leather on the collar, the perfect fit..and...the bottle opener connected inside the pocket is an amazing surprise.

Previous model was betterI am upset to see the newer model lacks many of the features that made the previous model such a great jacket. I miss the soft brown lining and multiple interior pockets. Will these features make a return any time soon? It seems like many customers agree the quality has declined.
