Perfect for Summer. Finally, 7 inch inseam!
Perfect summer shorts
The Salem has quickly become one of my favorite pairs of shorts. The factory 7-inch inseam is a huge part of that. It is the ideal length for a cleaner, more modern fit, especially if you are not tall, and it is great not having to buy an 8- or 9-inch short and immediately pay to have it altered. Honestly, I am not sure who still wants a 9-inch inseam.
The fabric is also perfect for summer. It is noticeably lighter than the EB66 fabric, very comfortable, and still looks polished without feeling overly technical.
I had seen a few reviews mention the pockets being unusually long, but I have not noticed that at all. They feel completely normal and easily hold my phone, wallet, and keys.
The fit is a little more true to size than the EB66 as well. I wear the same size in both, but the Salem fits a touch closer through the waist without feeling tight.
I really hope Peter Millar makes more shorts in a true 7-inch inseam and offers the Salem in more colors. This is the length they should be leaning into.

Great Shorts
Excellent shorts! True to size. Very comfortable. Only way to make it better is to have a shirt gripper or Non-slip waistband to prevent the back of the shirt from becoming un-tucked. GREAT shirt, will buy again!

These shorts are perfect. Great fit and material. Lightweight but not too light that you can see briefs seams or through them. Wish they were at the $100 mark but overall very happy with them.

Shorting your shorts
34 Heritage shorts are better. They have waist stretch feature. They fit better.. Also, your buttons are not too good either. 34 Heritage have much better buttons and durability.

Good qualify pants with exception
These fit well and look okay. The quality is very good. My issue is the original packaging crease in the pants will not come out after washing the 3 times. I contacted customer service and followed their advice, but no luck. Unfortunately they are not worth the price if all are like this!

the navy shorts I purchased were a little on the small side. They were size 32, I have 11 other pair and thought they might stretch out a little. After 18 holes they were still pretty tight. Navy is my favorite color can I send these back?

First purchase from Peter Millar
First pairs of Peter Millar shorts and they won't be my last. Because of the price I had never bought a pair of Peter Millar shorts before these. I got a gift card as part of an invitational here in Florida and used it to buy some shorts. OMG they fit, wear and wash up great. I now know why they are somewhat expensive.
