Why so expensive from 2023
I bought this vest back in 2023 and I noticed the price jumped from $150 to $250 and I’m curious to know the reason as I was planning to get a second vest

Genuinely Disappointed
I bought this as a reward for myself for getting a promotion at work.
I opened the box and the first thing I noticed was a weird crease on the collar that will not flatten out easily and can't be ironed as per the instructions.
Sure the "premium polyester" is prone to creasing, but receiving the product in that state was disappointing given the price of the vest. ZARA's packaging feels more premium, and any cheap collared shirt with the cardboard that keeps the collar in place feels more well thought out.
All in all, I can't say I'm happy with this purchase. I like that it has extra pockets on the inside, and the bottle opener is a nice detail, which was one of the reasons I bought this vest in the first place, but I was disappointed at the end of the end. The tag says "The highest quality fabrics, [and] impeccable craftsmanship...", but the polyester and a creased collar speak for themselves.
The mint was nice, but I would've preferred a nicely packaged vest.

Nice vest but not the quality of previous versions. Noticeable changes in materials, weight, and features from previous version yet more expensive.

Unhappy customer
I just bought the Essex vest to replace the one I have had for 4-5 years.
There is no comparison between the two. The new one is cheap looking
and not substantial like the old one. It does not have the detailing as in the
old one.
This is simply a shoddy product.
