Good quality product and true to size. Very good service. My only complaint would be that the cost for the products are quite excessive. I think that is disappointing that one should have to pay for a name.

Lightweight and loose fitting
Vary happy with purchase but haven’t tried to wash so I can’t speak to the problems a few others have had. Picked up on sale and thought I would take the chance. We will see.

Looks great but shrank by 50%
Very comfortable and nice look but after first wash (i hung dry) it shrank by at least 2 sizes. Completely unwearable now. Did PM give up on quality control of their products?? I’m at a post I can’t trust to buy from them.

The Reviews helped me
Loved the look of the sweater. I normally wear a large in everything by PM. This large was massive but after reading the reviews, I washed it and it shrunk considerably. You can also stretch the material a bit. It works for me but I can see the concerns

Shrinks 2 sizes after washing
Sweater is a beautiful and I’d like to purchase a variety of them. However, after washing the first time via the recommended method(hand washing in cold water) I am now not able to wear the sweater. He has shrunk at least 2 sizes. For the price you pay, this shouldn’t be an issue but it certainly is.

Washing instructions don't work
For how much I try to love the overall brand of Peter Millar, I have to say I've been pretty disappointed. I've purchased many items over the last year and its hit or miss as to the quality of what your getting. I wore the Autumn Crest sweater once without washing it and it was really nice. My wife and I decided to wash it and followed the instructions to a tee. Once you lay the sweater down flat and let it dry I think it shrinks 2 sizes. I can't even wear this sweater again. Its such an inconvenience to go through this process and customer service really never stands behind the product.
I purchased a pair of Surge Performance trousers and there was so many creases and wrinkles on the pants even after washing them a few times. You can't iron the pants, so I just don't wear those anymore either. I've been careful and try to steam the creases out but had no luck.
On the other hand the Bingham pants are awesome. Just wish the company had a little more consistency across their entire line. Its unfortunate.

Easily ruined - Snags/Pulls easily
Very Fragile - pulls/snags in sweater after 1st 5 min. I bought 3 different colors, the Navy, Tan and the Green. Each of them quickly developed snags in the sweater. I'm worried they will turn into holes. At a minimum, they look bad. These sweaters are very fragile. I don't have kids, dogs...i wasnt wearing outdoors...they are just fragile.
