Pants and More Pants!

Amazing comfort, poor quality
These are my favorite pants out there, however, like other reviews, they continually rip above the back pocket. Even after a few wears and only a few months of ownership, they rip. Wish the quality would match the comfort

Overpriced & have to get them hemmed because you don't carry enough inventory. Had to order longer length than I normally would have. Offering free shipping isn't really free when you have to pay to return something.

Like many others, ripped almost immediately
Bought two pair, really comfortable and looked good, but after 2, maybe 3 wears, big tear in the back near my butt on my right leg. Don't even think I put them through the wash at that point. Now I have a pair I can't wear, and a pair I'm afraid to wear due to fear of a wardrobe malfunction.

Poor construction, pants ripped almost immediately
Second time I wore these pants they ripped right above the back pocket. Seems like others having the exact same issue. Would hope for more from this company.

Unfortunately, there must be a quality control issue with these sateen pants, as my pants also ripped at the back seams after only a few months of wear. An “icon” product should last longer!

Disappointed, pants rip
Agree with the reviewer from Georgia, I’ve had two pair rip in the exact same spot near the back pocket. Both pair had only been worn a couple of times….and once I was traveling which really left me in a bind.

Signature Sateen disappointment
I bought a pair of the Signature Sateen on labor day weekend from the golf shop at Wild Dunes resort. Got back home and wore them for the first time in a round of golf yesterday. A huge hole ripped out in the back and they of course are unfixable and unreturnable. I would expect more from a pair of pants at this price. Unusable after one use is terrible quality.

Almost great
I love these pants EXCEPT the stitching on the top of the back pockets ALWAYS comes out making them look sloppy and over worn. I've had it happen on more than 5 pairs. Also happens on the EB55's every time. Customer support lacking on this matter as well.

Sateen Pants - not the same
Wow, super disappointed as I have bought probably 10 pairs of the ultimate sateen through the years ... these are not the same and are probably questionable for the office. Super stretchy and tighter. Ordered two pair as replacements and sending them back - I just assumed signature sateen and ultimate sateen was the same product. Nope.

Quality and material are good. The fit however is too slim. If you don’t have skinny thighs, these will look like leggings. I’m 6’4 260 size 38x34

Another good refresh with the Sateen
Another nice classic PM Sateen pant - I read the other reviews and I didn't notice much of a change in sizing. I'm abou 5'7 about 175# with big thighs so I usually order a 34 to accomodate and snitch in the waist a tiny bit. Same is true for these. Maybe the legs are a little slimmer that previous versions, but the material is super stretchy and, I don't know what these other guys have, but the crotch was fine.

Great pair of pants!
I have long been a big fan of the EB66 pants. These are even a step up from those! They are super comfortable! The Signature pants have an amazingly soft feel. I will definitely be getting more colors in this style!

Quality/Sizing has diminished
I've been a big believer in Peter Millar for years, probably own 6-7 pairs of these and other garments as well. The newer pairs of these pants fit much different than the old ones, much tighter through the legs and crotch. Quality has also been very sub-par for the price. As others have mentioned, multiple pairs have developed holes in the same areas (above the rear pockets, on the seams, etc.). I think I'll be looking for a new go-to brand.
