The Peter Millar Name
Founder Chris Knott chose the name Peter Millar from an antique lawnball given to him by his mother. The name suggested an emblem of an era, a man who was worldly, sophisticated, honest and unflappable; a modern renaissance man, a scholar, an athlete and a self-made businessman, travelling the world in search of business, adventure and authentic experience.
Now, through the line of clothing that bears this name, we can travel with Peter Millar and rediscover that era - a time when travel was truly first class. When authentic materials and quality construction were unspoken norms. When clothing really did make the man.
